Well, the Astros have been ripped by everyone on the planet over their sign stealing. I still maintain that the other teams are no better and that the Astros’ biggest sin is their amazing lack of contrition. They “apologized” today with some of the lamest bunch of weasel words I have ever heard! The statements were obviously written by the Astros’ legal department.
It is funny to read people predicting that pitchers will be throwing at the Astros hitters. Write this down – NOT HAPPENING! The millionaires will look after each other.
Meanwhile, it appears the Red Sox are going to skate by on their own sign stealing scandal. There must be joy in Red Sox Nation over that. They are understandably angry over the Mookie Betts, so they have probably suffered enough. Although they did manage to unload David Price in the process (USA Today Sports Weekly referred to him as a “toxic asset”).
