The Charlotte track has history and the races there are usually good. Although the 600 mile race on Memorial Day is FAR too long. I really like starting in daylight and running into the night, but 600 miles is pushing it. While we are talking about Charlotte, I love the Roval! If we just had a few more drivers with attitude, that would be the best race on the circuit!

The other 1.5 mile tracks are dull beyond all human endurance. Every track looks the same. Every race has the same leaders. If you can tell these tracks apart, you are a true superfan. I am old enough to remember Rockingham and North Wilkesboro, tracks with quirks and real character. It seemed that the drivers were in a bad mood as soon as the green flag dropped at North Wilkesboro, and they just got meaner and nastier as the race went on. Now THAT was racing!
