I thought we would all be immunized by now and we could get back to a normal life. Not yet. However there were some notable accomplishments in the last few months. MLB and the NFL both managed to complete their seasons. How many people thought that would happen? MLB spring training is set to start in a couple of weeks. My NFL fantasy team won! I live in Nova Scotia, a small province in Canada with a population of just under one million. We currently have TEN active Covid cases and ONE person hospitalized. Sometimes living in the sticks really pays off! Shows what can happen when people matter more than $$$.
The travel industry is in the toilet at the moment. All the airlines are crying poor and our local airport (YHZ) is begging for government help. My heart bleeds, especially for the airlines. You overcharged us for years and in exchange gave us crummy service, so suck it up princess. Not a penny in bailouts! Especially when many Canadians are STILL waiting for refunds from cancelled 2020 flights!
