- Just to change things up a little, I wanted to add a post on my latest adventure. I am in Central Florida for a 10 day cycling vacation. The West Orange Trail is the best bike trail I have EVER been on, and I have been cycling for 34 years. The only problem is the weather. Today is my fourth day here in Kissimmee and I have seen the sun for about an hour total. To make matters worse, temps have been far below normal the last two days. The high today was 54F (12C). Yes the temps at home are below freezing right now, but who expects Florida to be this cold? The only amusing part of this was watching some locals cycling in their winter jackets and hats. One person even had a face mask on! Come to my world. You wouldn’t make it through the fall, let alone the winter! Temps like today are typical at home until early June and starting about the middle of October.
All is right in my world today. Sun finally came out and temp hit mid 70s. Back to the West Orange Trail for an awesome bike ride! Now if I could only win the lottery, turn back my ageing clock and restore my youthful hairline life would be perfect.
